The Mauritian Kim Le Court won the 6th stage of the 2026 Tour de France Femmes in Tournon-sur-Rhône on August 6. Despite a crash and mechanical issues, she claimed the stage in a sprint finish ahead of Cédrine Kerbaol and Puck Pieterse. This marks her second victory in the Grande Boucle after Guéret in 2025. Kim Le Court had a difficult start to the stage: after a crash, she had to switch bikes 15 km from the finish due to a mechanical problem. Dropped to around forty seconds behind the lead group, she closed the gap with the support of her AG Insurance-Soudal team.
With 10 km to go, she joined a breakaway of eight riders, including Riejanne Markus. No significant attacks emerged in the final kilometers, allowing Le Court to win the sprint.
